Paul J. Marston
CEO of P.S. Marston Associates, LLC since 2001. Paul has been involved in the haz-mat transportation industry since 1992. He’s been blessed to be a part of this second generation family business through periods of great growth, as well as many challenges over the last 20 years. He has over two decade’s hands on and investment experience in the hospitality industry as well.
An active participant with New Hampshire Motor Truck, C12, National Tank Truck Carriers, Seacoast Family Promise, and a member of Bethany Church, Greenland, NH. University of New Hampshire, Durham.
After graduating from Bentley University in 2002, Pete spent the first part of his career in Public Accounting earning his CPA designation in 2005. Pete went to Abenaqui full-time in 2008, as Chief Financial Officer. His passion is in business and personal finance. Pete has enjoyed being a critical part of the team at Abenaqui as the Company has grown substantially over the years, both financially and as a high performing organization.
Pete is an active member of the Portsmouth Rotary, serves on the Finance and Audit committees at the Foundation for Seacoast Health, was elected as a Trustee of the Trust Funds of the town of Northwood, as well as the Treasurer of Northwood Congregational Church. He currently lives in Northwood with his wife Tiffany and his two children Andrew and Natalie.
Sales and Marketing
Ellen Flint has been with Abenaqui Carriers since 1998. New to transportation back then, she started as a billing clerk and since became our Sales and Marketing director in 2007. Ellen masterfully handles our customer support, and tireless works to resolve any and all issues.
Ellen has had a prodigious coaching career in both field hockey and soccer, and has a wonderful family of 5.
Paul S. Marston
Mr. Marston started his haz-mat hauling career in 1970. Since then he’s built up multiple companies
from just an idea to some of the most significant in New England, including Northeast Cartage Bulk and Abenaqui Carriers.
He has had many other entrepreneurial endeavors, including The Oaks and Candia Woods, Abercrombie & Finch restaurant, several real estate development projects. Mr. Marston continues to be involved with Abenaqui Carriers and Chairman of the Board.
Chet Carrara, Operations Manager- Working his way up through the dairy business, Chet started in 1978 as a transport driver for Idlenot Dairy, taking on roles as Transport Dispatch Supervisor, Safety Manager, Distribution Manager, and eventually overseeing 595 pieces as Fleet Manager. Coming to Abenaqui Carriers in 1999, as an owner operator, Chet soon became Maintenance Supervisor and in 2012 took on the role as Operations Manager.
Chet brings a vast amount of knowledge in all areas of our operations, including propane, gasoline, over dimensional moves and LNG.
Matt Fuller has been our Information Technology Manager since 2008. In that time he has overseen a complete overhaul of all of our fundamental business technologies. Matt has done a tremendous job keeping our company ahead of an ever-changing technology curve.
Matt studied Computer Science at Northeastern University and the University of New Hampshire. He has been with Abenaqui for 8 years.
Curt Marston began his career in haz-mat trucking in 1977. From 12 years of age, he found his calling in trucking. Curt started Abenaqui Carriers in 1991, and has maintained his role in operations ever since. Over the years, Curt has led special projects around the US, from providing back-up transportation with forest fires in Washington sate, to pipeline emergencies in Arizona, and hurricane support in Florida, Curt thrives in exceeding customer expectations, no matter the challenge.
Sheryl Smith started with Abenaqui Carriers in 2004 as a Safety trainer, and she became our Safety Director in 2010. Sheryl is a certified trainer with Smith System, AirBp and in its day, ExxonMobil. As an active member of NHMTA, NTTC and the National Safety Council, Sheryl has been instrumental in Abenaqui’s industry leading Safety record.
